PAINTBALL!

February 17, 2008 at 6:48 pm (Uncategorized)

160208 was fun! We had this visit to Singapore Discovery Centre for several activities but the main objective for me to go there was for paintball! I thought that there would only be Nursing students but the BioChem students were there too. Surprisingly, only the BioChem girls were present. So, upon reaching there, we got this little tour to SAFTI MI. I’ve been there a couple of times while I was a proud member of the National Cadet Corps. Same old stuff there, nothing special. After the tour, we got separated to 3 groups. How sad was I when we were all separated. Nurul and Farhan was in a different group. Me, Marina and Khai in the same group. My group had this tent pitching session at the first station. It was tent pitching with a twist! My group of 10 was divided into 2 groups of 5. Each team were to have 2 blindfolded members, 2 instructors and a saboteur. I was the saboteur whose task was to give wrong instructions to the other blindfolded members. After much yakking, I decided to give up and help my team instead.

After the tent pitching session was PAINTBALL! We were brief on safety issues and stuff. Then came the fun! Me, Khai, Marina, Salimah and Aisyah or however her name is spelt was in the same group! Had 2 sessions of Flag-Capture and then a session of Elimination. It was 1-1 for the Flag-capturing! The best was the Elimination round! The round goes like Last Man Standing. 2 groups of 5 against each other. Whoever gets shot, isn’t granted any revival. And of course, my team won! OH, there was this part in the Elimination round when I shot this BioChem girl from the side. This bunch of girls were cramping near each other and all I did was to flank them from the side, unnoticed. I had this clear shot of the girls so I just started spraying paintballs on them. Just as I was happily shooting them while they were off-guard, this girl stood up and shouted, “Eh,Eh,EH! Jangan tembak laa, aku dah keneeee!” HAH! I just thought she sounded cute saying that. So, she walked off the arena while looking at me. I just gave her the shrug and acted blur. XD

Paintball is tiring stuff but the exhilirating part is there. Cool shit. Anyway, the last station was some kinda “Amazing Race”. Nothing special to it.

After the whole damned thing at the centre, Me, Khai and Farhan decided to go somewhere. We just headed anywhere without any specific plans. Landed our asses in Peninsular and Khai bought his guitar strings. Farhan decided to look for soccer boots. Then, it was my turn to bring the group elsewhere. Finally ended our asses at Paradiz Centre for Lan gaming! Khai was like, “Ah, after so long, I get to kill people!” Enough of all that. Well, we actually had this plan of going to a gig at Youth Park. Sort of a gig to me but who cares since the bands played some real good music. We stayed from 5pm to 9pm listening to the bands playing their stuffs. Saw Faizal with his friends. Hmm. The mosh pit looks cool. Never been in one and I wanted to have a piece of fun inside but sadly, I had a bag with me and I was wearing sandals. GRR! Left the place with Farhan and left Khai with his friends. 7-ed and 38-ed home and got home around 10.30pm.

The girl that I shot is in the front row, the 3rd one from the left. She looks cute in person rather than in the picture. Sadly but true, I don’t know her name. Damn it la. ):

Took some photos at Boon Lay station before going our separate ways.

OH, and more thing. Nurul planned of having a session of paintballing when we’ve got our attachment pay! And it will be some time around our holidays? I hope the rest agrees to it. It will be so cool paintballing with the SGH Cohort. (:

Nuff said peepearl. Let me retreat to the real world.
